Our practice is focused on the development and implementation of strategic solutions and investment decisions that provide measurable value to our clients.
Specifically, we have worked closely with our client’s to analyze, craft and implement creative business and franchise strategies, portfolio/clinical development strategies, business development/LM&A strategies, managed care and other channel strategies, product marketing / branding / sales strategies, and product life cycle / loss of exclusivity strategies.
Over the years, we have worked in most if not all of the major therapeutic areas of interest to life science companies and many of the more esoteric ones as well. Our technology platform experience is equally broad. Therapeutic constructs have included, but not been limited to, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, small molecules, prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines; emerging platforms have included cell therapy, gene therapy, genomics; and other relevant categories have included molecular diagnostics, monitoring and imaging, and drug delivery technologies.
The Frankel Group has established a reputation of providing creative, value driven strategic solutions, and the tools to implement these solutions, to a wide range of health care industry players. Our core life science consulting practice is complemented by an active transactions practice comprised of private equity fund management, individual company fund raising assistance, and product out-sourcing/in-sourcing execution. While our strategic advisory practice enables broad and deep business guidance across the value chain, our complementary transactions practice provides not only insight and access to leading edge technology developments and related companies, but importantly allows TFG to uniquely complement its advisory recommendations with the capital, product and company assets necessary to realize those recommendations.
Additionally, The Frankel Group has established strategic alliances with other firms that offer complementary expertise, including patent estate due diligence, business development transactions and fund raising assistance. These relationships allow us to efficiently yet thoroughly: assess patent estates/IP status and freedom-to-operate landscapes for our clients’ investment decisions …be they decisions in R&D, product / company transactions, or service additions; execute product out-licensing or in-licensing to balance portfolios; and secure capital for investment opportunities.
Together, these capabilities provide a seamless offering of strategic advisory, asset assembly and capital from technology discovery through commercialization for the full range of our clients, and in so doing allow The Frankel Group to deliver significant levels of realized value to the life science industry.
The scope of our practice can be best illustrated with the following Figure.
